Located in Minneapolis. DAP provides programming to end the inter-generational cycle of domestic violence, working with all affected members of the family to stop domestic violence as it occurs and prevent it in the future. It is the only agency in the Twin Cities that offers trauma-informed therapy for all family members affected by family violence.

Grant supports expanding access and improving DAP’s Early Childhood Program by funding staff training in Early Childhood Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy for Kids to better support young children affected by domestic violence. Staff will dedicate time to implementing these practices through direct sessions, parent engagement, and ongoing program evaluation to ensure comprehensive mental health support.
