Minnesota Prenatal to Three Coalition

Focus Area: Advocacy in Early Childhood

Grant Amount: $7,500

The Minnesota Prenatal to Three Coalition is built on the conviction that children facing racial, geographic, and economic inequities are the right starting point for policy, and that centering their needs is the path to better outcomes for all Minnesota children. As the state's lead cross-sector advocacy coalition for infants, toddlers, and families, the Coalition advances this vision through relationship-based advocacy at the state and federal levels and by educating policymakers about programs that give children a strong foundation in their earliest years.

Grant supports two primary activities: sponsoring a 2027 Legislators Academy for newly elected and returning lawmakers, and advocating to defend and expand funding across three domains: health and early childhood mental health, early care and learning, and family strengths and economics.
