Located in south Minneapolis. Begun in 1974, Centro is the oldest and largest multi-service Latine organization in Minneapolis and provides services to low-income Latine families in the Twin Cities. Centro’s services include health, wellness, and education, including Siembra, a dual-language 4-Star Parent Aware-rated Montessori early childhood program that incorporates elements of Latine culture.

Grant supports a new series of monthly parent education workshops for the school year, intended to support the current student population, which is experiencing an increased presence of developmental delays. The workshops will address the additional challenges that children ages 1-3 faced during the pandemic and provide support to help address any developmental delays that may arise.
