Based in Duluth, Divine Konnections Inc. (DKI) is led by a BIPOC woman who is committed to transforming lives and creating divine connections, specifically targeting BIPOC young mothers and families. Their approach involves partnering with families to help them overcome barriers, identify strengths and goals, and ultimately foster independence within a supportive community.
Grant supports preparing educators at Heather’s Happy Days Daycare, located in the Diver Morning Sky Hope & Healing Center. Funds will directly support addressing behavioral needs through staff development and parent-child programming, focusing on infants and toddlers who experience significant social-emotional challenges rooted in trauma, poverty, and chronic stress.
