Grant Amount: $8,500

Based in Stillwater, serves the Twin Cities metro area, southeastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. FamilyMeans provides the only out-of-school-time opportunities for a high-poverty group of children in the two manufactured homes communities that it serves in St. Croix County, Landfall and Cimarron.

Grant supports daily programming at both the Cimarron and Landfall locations, giving underserved youth access to academic support, health and wellness education and activities, and social-emotional support. This programming, provided through a lens of cultural, diverse, and equitable competency, will help prepare youth between the ages of 5-11 for success in their middle and high school years.
