Based in Minneapolis, serving families in crisis since 1983. Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery believes that consistent, trusted relationships are the most powerful tool available for disrupting cycles of poverty and adversity in a child's earliest years. That conviction is the foundation of its Targeted Home Visiting program.
Grant supports the delivery of the Targeted Home Visiting program, serving over 60 families and 76 children in Hennepin County. Educators deliver home visits using Parent as Teachers and Mothers and Babies curricula focusing on parent-child interaction, child development coaching, developmental screening, and connection to resources.
